IEEE ODTÜ Robotics and Automation Technical Subunit

The IEEE ODTÜ Robotics and Automation Technical Subunit aims to develop its members technically throughout the year through software and robotics trainings, as well as various hands-on workshops. It is an IEEE ODTÜ subunit focused on skill development in the field of robotics.

C Training

This is the first training, lasting 6 weeks, organized by the IEEE ODTÜ Robotics and Automation Technical Subunit. It serves as an introductory course to the C programming language, which is widely used in the field of robotics.

Electronics Course and Workshop

In this training, basic electrical components are introduced, and practical demonstrations are conducted at the RAS Lab of the METU Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Arduino Workshop

The Arduino workshop serves as the entry-level workshop for active members of the subunit. Members are divided into groups and, under the mentorship of the subunit coordinators, learn and apply Arduino usage through hands-on activities.

Light-Following Workshop

In this workshop, members apply the knowledge gained from the Arduino training to build a light-following robot in groups, using electrical components such as PIC microcontrollers or OpAmps.
